The Story

1762

The Beginning

George Beatty builds the original stone mill on the banks of the Musconetcong River in Warren County, New Jersey. The massive stone walls and timber framing are constructed to last centuries.

The Fisher Era

Under S.B. Fisher, the mill operations expand. The building becomes a cornerstone of the local community, processing grain and serving the growing settlements of the Musconetcong Valley.

The Restoration

A careful architectural restoration preserves the original stonework, hand-hewn beams, and the millrace that still channels the river beneath the structure. The building is brought back to life while honoring its 18th-century character.
